OK this squealing is really starting to get to me. No matter what I adjust the alternator and SC belt to, I get this squeaking noise only at around 2100RPM when the car is under slight load. It starts off a chirp, followed by a 2 second squeal then goes away.
Its really starting to annoy me, and Im starting to believe its not belt related. Could it be a bad pulley idler bearing or something? The kit is only a month old.

You should take the SC belt off and check all the pulleys for play.(wobble) You may have a loose shaft. At a certain RPM, the pulley starts to go into a resonance and makes that noise.
I'm assuming the belt isn't over tightened too?

Yeah I tried several different belt tensions. Everything from really loose, to pretty tight.
Its very annoying.

You may have to replace the belt(s). Once the surface is "glazed", no amount of tension on it will get rid of the squealing.

Get someone to rev the car to wahtever RPMS it squeals at and then get some WD40 or similar lubricant and using the straw attachment.. CAREFULLY spray one little area at a time until the squeek stops, then you know where its coming from.. fix it..
Spray the pulley, bearings, alternator, PS, etc etc.. one at a time just dont' spray the belt itself, it'll slip.

Thanks for the suggestions, however it only squeeks when the car is under slight load. So I cant stick my head in the hood at the same time.

I did notice the belts do look shiny. They're different than the OEM belts and the ones that came with my PS pulley. Did they get glazed. or do they come like that?
